Hi, I am Nina Louise! Welcome to the website. I hope you find what you are looking for here. On my website: ninalouise.net, you will find samples of my voiceover acting work. Links to my YouTube channel: ConversationalNina and blogs on lifestyle interests like traveling, shopping, eating and job hunting. You will also find my journey tips as a writer and much much more. My goal in creating this site is to inform, assist and motivate you as well as myself to dust my shoulders off and get up and keep it moving. Never giving up on the career dreams, the healthy and fit me, and continuing to grow spiritually while living life to the fullest.
I am a Voiceover Artist and Screenwriter.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I was born in Tacoma, Washington. A middle child and the only girl, I grew up on episodes of Kung Fu, Charlie's Angels and Nancy Drew. It's a wonder I grew up convinced I would want to write my own action hero equipped with a set of martial arts skills.
I traveled as a child, and grew up in cities like Colorado, Kentucky, Hawaii and Los Angeles, making pit stops in my older years in Kansas City, Omaha, and Jacksonville, Florida. I now call California home, though Tacoma and Hawaii, where I spent my teenage years, sticks to my skin like glue.
My travels encouraged happiness on the go and when sometimes I regretted not having just one place to call home, I realize my mother's flair for a life well-lived meant we moved around until we found our home.
They say home is where the heart is, but my heart belongs to historical fiction. My heart belongs to my writing. Whether writing the fun dramatic pieces with a touch of romance and a bit of action or a historical drama with all the pieces of a great novel or a mysterious action-packed thriller, I cannot put enough writing on paper.
It took me 30 years to return to college. There are no regrets. I want to write stories people love and stick with them for a lifetime. I was 53 when I received my master's degree in English at Loyola Marymount University. Although my PhD program was interrupted in Hawaii because of medical issues, I am getting back up, dusting off the dirt, finding my balance (literally) and keeping it moving. Dreams interrupted, but not denied.
Thank you for stopping by!
